Good vocations

“It is ability
that counts.”

— Dr. Edgar J. Helms, Founder of Goodwill in 1902

Goodwill’s mission sits firmly on the belief that honest work and the dignity of a paycheck provide the first steps to achieving independence and the American dream. There are 23 million people with disabilities nationwide who are not working and are unable to experience the dignity of a job and a paycheck.

Good Vocations, in conjunction with Goodwill Industries of Middle Georgia, SourceAmerica, and the AbilityOne Program upholds that mission by providing individuals with disabilities access to employment. We do so through training and placement into meaningful jobs.
